The fix is expensive - a new linerHowever, the liner isn't destroyed, you just have to get used to the 'pruning'. Yes, you did remove a # of years off of the liner
John is right about the cause (John, does the pH up do this too? - I thought it was only HIGH cl or acid that kills liners)
K-97, in the future mix any dry chems you are adding in a bucket with water (add chems to water/ NOT water to chems) and stir and let ~ fully disolve BEFORE adding to the pool!
