Default Suggestions for Vacumming / Solar covers

I have a 28' round AG with cartridge filter. When I bought the pool 4 yrs ago, I also bought a ladybug vacuum. Up until now it worked fine, now all it does is float onto its side after about 15 seconds vacuuming. Does anyone have suggestions on why this is happeneing or possible better vacuuming products?

Also, I want to shop around for a solar cover this season. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Thanks.

Hi, The ladybug cleaner is my personal favorite. It does, however, require service every few years. It sounds like it's time for new pods. Any local pool store should be able to do that for you.

That is assuming your filter pressure is unchanged. Low suction will make the lady a little sluggish also.

    Best of luck, Dennis

yes, and I heard they're excellent as well, almost bought one last year, but my wife feels the barracuda does a great job as it is and we don't need another cleaner - then again, she wants a deck and is likely just trying to make the budget.

We have a Lil Shark that works OK - our pool is larger than the one we got the cleaner for originally and it seems we need to pursuade it to get certain spots.

Solar covers? I thought they had pretty decent deals at PCPools.com. $120 + 8.95 handling (free shipping) for the clear, $90 for the blue.
