Stain Removal Questions

What stain removal process are you referring to? I tried Jacks magic last year and it did not work. If you have a stain removal process on this website can you please supply a link or point me in the right direction? I'm not looking for a simple solution, but with my FC at 0 and high temps the next week I had to either try it, or give up and rechlorinate.

Right now the AA has removed most of the stains. I do not want them to come back. It did lighten the heavy organic stains in the deep end, but I would be very happy if you have a process to follow for that, aside from draining and acid wash, which I have considered.

Here is link to AA procedure. It is posted as a sticky by alyad at top of this category. I began trying it July 31. Still working with it. I am not certain I put enough HEDP in it - only dose on bottle. Used Kem Tek Calcium&Metal Eliminator and am using JacksMagicPinkStuff now - both recommended by forum. This time am making sure I am keeping more of the HEDP in the water than before. PoolDoc is the expert, so I continue to read and try to figure out what I might be doing wrong. My stains have come back every time I get my chlorine back to minimum levels 3.0 - 4.0 with PH of 7.2. Good luck.
