Others will know better than me, but this appears to be the 60% polyquat we all use. A gallon is on sale for a great price right now. http://www.lesliespool.com/shopping/...keyword=14-030
Greetings folks,
Have not been on this forum for a few years. Have not had to with all I learned and using Pooltrine regularly. My pool has been crystal clear all summer for the last 2 years using this algecide with hardly any brushing required. And I live in the Sacramento valley area of CA where it can get very hot.
I have just enough Pooltrine left until the end of this year and will be looking for some more again in the fall. What's the best time to buy it? I bought mine at Leslie's online last time but I don't see it on their site any longer. Any other deals around?
thanks
dave mc

Why BBB? Because money can't buy happiness, but saving it sure can!
Ya looks like the stuff according to the MSDS for the product on their site:

Guess I'll buy a gallon. Should last me another 2 years!
<B>Just an update:</B>
I found a very good deal on the Bluewave Eradicator 60 which I think is the same stuff. Maybe someone can confirm that. Anyways, this place has it for $12 when you buy 4: http://www.poolsupplies.com/cgi-bin/...ction&key=pl23 That is a lot cheaper than most other places which are usually $20 or more. Handling is $10 with free shipping or whatever. That's $58 vs $65 which is what I would end up paying Leslie's with tax and their handling fee.
This guy on ebay is also selling 1 gal of Pooltrine 60 for $52 with $6 shipping which also works out to $58: http://cgi.ebay.com/Applied-BioChemi...QQcmdZViewItem
All in all, I guess the Leslie's deal is pretty good.

I found an online coupon for Leslies Pool for 20% off one item. Code 62CS which expires 7/31. I haven't used it but it's worth trying.![]()

The Leslie's coupon code does not work. Actually it does work for 20% off but the sale price is 25% off so it raises the price on the algaecide.
