    4 Northstar 2hp pumps. my pool sucks 30,000+ gallons per hour

    Yesterday, my builder and his plumbers came out to re-do the plumbing around the equipment pad.

    It's kind of hard to see, but, if you look closely at one of the equipment photos I posted earlier, they had installed the heater right in front of a window.

    That's a no-no.

    They shifted everything to the right and installed the salt cell in the proper place in the flow path. I like the new arrangement. It leaves me some open space on the pad, which is why I wanted such a big pad in the first place.

    I need to call the builder to confirm this, but I believe they also left the capped-off pipe for possible future installation of a pressure-side cleaner below grade. If that is in fact what they did, that's pretty nifty.
