Thank you, some of the research I've done points to a bad solder, I'm going to pull the board this weekend and inspect that, I've already repaired one bad solder joint in the past, I will update you, Thanks again

Interesting.

Of course, you realize that repairing a bad solder joint on a circuit board is something that less than 1% of pool owners are prepared to tackle? I'm not sure even Hayward's techs would attempt that!

And, service guys like I was won't do it -- if they have any sense -- because there's a good chance they'll spend a considerable amount of time working on it, and still fail to fix the problem, instantly converting their time into unbillable hours.

That puts the repair firmly into the category of "Appropriate ONLY for highly skilled amateurs!".
