22k gal pool with cloudy water 5 days after opening

opened pool 5 days ago, checked chemicals readings

21750 gal. vinyl inground pool:

• FAC 2 ppm
• TAC .2 ppm
• PH 7.4
• TA 66 ppm <= bogus reading
• CH 161 ppm<= bogus reading
• CYA 74 ppm<= bogus reading
• salt 3000 ppm

After getting all readings to this point , I have been trying to shock the system to get rid of the hazy water,

I can see the bottom drain in the 6 ft deep end But can't get the Chlorine level up to at 4+ to rid the hazy water, on 4 different days I have 2 lbs shock 4lbs shock, and 2 gals. of chlorine leaving pump run 24/7, SWG set 75% ,cartridge filter.

So How Do I get the chlorine up and get rid of the hazy milky water

1. Turn your SWG off; leave your pump on 24/7
2. Begin adding 1 gallon of 10% pool bleach or 2 gallons of 6% PLAIN household bleach each PM
3. Verify your gallons, or report dimensions. Over 1/3 of pool owners have SERIOUSLY wrong estimates of pool volume.
4. Get testkits and test it yourself; report results.
(The bogus numbers are too 'accurate' to be measured with consumer OR pool dealer equipment. That means the numbers are at least partly fabricated! I do NOT know that they are wrong; I just know that they are NOT trustworthy!)
5. Describe your pump / filter setup . . . and any evidence you have that it does NOT need service. Hazy cloudy water is often an indication of filtration failure.
6. Do NOT use any blended chlorine: no X-in-1, no "blue", no "multifunction". For now, we will assume that your CYA reading is somewhere close to 70, in which case you may not want to use dichlor or trichlor which INCREASE CYA. Bleach is the safest option for now.

Testing

• First, get an HTH 6 Way test kit from Walmart or Amazon
• Then, order a K2006 from Amazon
• Later, order CYA reagent refills: 16 oz R-0013 and Disposable plastic lab funnels

Reporting:

Once you have the kits, report the results PLUS pool type, water source, equipment (heater?), pool finish and presence/absence of aeration (waterfall, spillover, etc.)

• 10% Pool bleach - Walmart Pool-Essentials-Chlorinating-Liquid
• 6% PLAIN Walmart household bleach
• Dichlor - 55% chlorine / 50% CYA - [ Sams 50# Dichlor bucket
• Dichlor - 55% chlorine / 50% CYA - Sams 24 x 1# Dichlor bags ]
• Trichlor - 90% chlorine / 56% CYA [ Sams 40# Trichlor bucket ]
• Cal hypo - 68% chlorine / 46% calcium hardness

Other:

• Borax - 20-Mule-Team-Borax-Box (NOT Boraxo detergent!)

• Muriatic Acid - Lowes / Crown-1-Gallon-Muriatic-Acid (Read muriatic acid instructions linked in my blue signature box!)

Warning:

Until you are an expert at deciphering chemical names, and can distinguish sodium hydrogen carbonate from sodium dichloroisocyanurate,
AVOID:

• Clorox brand POOL chemicals
• Arm & Hammer brand POOL chemicals (A & H baking soda + washing soda are fine!)
• HTH brand POOL chemicals (Dry-Tec, made by HTH/Arch, are often fine)
• Pool Time brand POOL chemicals
• United Chemical brand POOL chemicals
• All "Multi-function" chemicals
• All 3-in-1, 4-in-1, 5-in-1 chemicals
• Stain removers (most add phosphates = algae fertilizer)
• Non-fuming muriatic acid (unless you KNOW it is only diluted with water!)
• Most algaecides (polyquat is OK. Copper is OK if you don't mind green hair)
• Almost all 'boosters'.
• Ammonia based products: Yellow Out, Green to Clean, etc.
• Bromide based products: Yellow Treat, etc.
