DIY in-ground installation

Hello, Thanks for all the great info your forum has provided me so far. I am halfway through a DIY install of a 16 x 32 Pool kit I bought online. So far so good. I took a week off and was able to get dig, walls, step, main drains installed and hopper pad and bond beam poured. Rain set in and have not been able to complete bottom work. 60 bags of Poolcrete have been sitting under a sheet of plastic for a week. Has anyone ever had to deal with a delay at this point, it has been two weeks since I have been able to work on it. Scared to start finishing bottom with the afternoon thunderstorms that we have been having. Thanks.

I've never built a real pool, few of us here have, so take this for what it's worth.

Is it possible to tent your site? Maybe a really large tarp? Set it up so the rain drains away from the site. Also check that rain falling around the tent won't work it's way into the pool.
