So I am sure this topic comes up often in this forum but I think I have a unique situation. So we recently bought a home with a pool. There were a ton of issues with the pool in the beginning from the liner pulling from the coping, chemical imbalance, bugs. So we finally got all the issues fixed and started enjoying our pool last month.
A few storms came through and a lot of debris got into the pool. I needed to vacuum the pool on waste so I decided to fill the pool up some before doing so. I put the hose in the pool and turned on and asked my wife to turn off in a bit cause I needed to leave. Well she forgot and when I did ultimately get home, the pool was completely full of water and there were wet spots all over the place.
I started vacuuming the pool on waste to not only remove all the extra water but to go ahead and clean the pool at the same time. Water in the yard went away, the pool was clean and everything was fine. That was a little less than 2 weeks ago.
Now I am losing water, approximately an inch a day, and I have no idea why. It started a few days after the flood. I have no clue whats going on and my regular pool guy is on vacation.
Any ideas and help?!?! Thanks All.
