Not that I'm aware of.

It would be possible to drain the pool, recut the skimmer hole through the wall panel, and liner . . . but that would make a mess of your liner and pool wall.

I will say that neither of my boys really knew pools had bottoms till they were 8 or 9; they always swam in commercial pools that were too deep for them to touch bottom. It never kept them out of the water, and both became competitive swimmers. They both now swim Masters.
