    Post adding algaecide

    does adding an algaecide to your pool help keep alge down or does is truly help kill your chlorine?

    That's a simple question that has a complicated answer, if I answer completely.

    But I think maybe the question you are really asking is, "Does using an algaecide help control algae?"

    And the answer to THAT question is, "Normally, it does not."
