UltraViolet Questions

I'm getting ready to start a pool? Anyone have any thoughts on the ultra violet system or any other recommendations of must have items (cleaning systems, energy efficient products) to include in our pool bid?

UV systems on an outdoor pool are like using a hose to add water to the Tennessee River: the amount of UV the system adds is a fraction of what the pool already gets from sunlight!

Granted, some UV systems add UV in a different wavelength than the majority of solar UV . . . but that doesn't change the fundamental fact: pool UV systems have no useful function on outdoor residential pools EXCEPT to improve dealer profits.
