Hi,
We have a local community pool that I volunteer for. This year we replaced our very simple reliable chlorine system with a Salt based generator. The system consists of two Hayward C6 generators. We can not get the chlorine levels to rise above .5. If we try we get "low salt" messages. We tested the salt in the pool and its at 2500ppm?
I have read where the ORP levels make the traditional chlorine levels obsolete. Unfortunately our township only cares about traditional chlorine levels. Is there a way to make this new system produce chlorine levels high enough to pass the township tests? We have a pool "guy" but he disappeared and we are trying to work through this problem.
Thanks!
Ralph
