It doesn't seem like I am getting enough flow through the chlorinator. It was set up in a bottom feed configuration and would fill partially with water but then the water would eventually drain from the chamber. I switched it to top feed but the same thing is happening. When I recharge it, I only have about an inch of water that stays in the chlorinator even though I have it turned all the way up. Brand new chlorinator just installed a week ago.

As far as the water in concerned, basically no FC even though I have put at least 12 pounds of granular chlorine in it, shocked multiple times, etc. Water is very cloudy but appears to be getting better. Brand new cartridge fikter....cleaning it every couple days. Water looks like it is clearing but very slowly and still not holding chlorine. Very little combined.
CYA is still ok but if I have to keep adding the breakout 35, it's gonna get high.

Should I use regular bleach instead for now?
