Feedback from pool into chlorine tank using a stenner automated chlorination pump

Hey there everybody.

I am the pool guy (by default) for a physio clinic using hydrotherapy. I have had to teach myself most of the ins and outs of pool maintenance with varying degrees of success.

Today I find myself at a loss (and google has not been of any help).

I am getting water from the pool running into my chlorine tanks from the injection point. I just today switched out the injection point (as well as the automated chlorine pump tube and all fasteners - figured I might as well do it as it was about time)

The issue however seems to persist. Would anyone have any knowledge on this type of issue?

Just guessing that the one-way valve that allows liquid chlorine to flow into the water is shot and open both ways.

I'm the only one here with any real experience with that sort of issue, so we don't really support commercial pool operations.

In your situation, there are multiple possible problems. The most likely solution is to simply replace the complete tube set, including the injector fitting and peristaltic tube. I'm sure it could be done more directly, but without being there, I'm not ready to try to walk through the process with you.

If you want to rebuilt the injector and the pump bit by bit, till you get things working, you can use those sites to do so.
