Default Is it necessary to clean out the water/mud/grass,etc from under above ground pool?

we had someone clean the few inches of crud (from sitting uncovered all winter) out of our pool... but now it is pretty wet and dirty underneath - between the pool and the liner underneath the pool.

Can we move the pool easy enough so we can get under there to clean that up? or do we just leave as is? I am going to landscape around the pool with rocks - I don't want the water and junk underneath the pool to give me heartache down the road.

*** we werent planning on using the pool again... so we didn't winterize ***
We had a fairly mild winter - the pool stayed intact - and I don't see any damage

p.s. i am very pool clueless.. very

    8-)

It sounds like you have an Intex or Summer Escapes type pool?

Normally, once a pool is in place, nothing much moves underneath. So, I'm struggling to understand what's going on in your case. Has new goo washed under the pool during the winter?
