The time has come to replace my Hayward Northstar 1 hp pump which they no longer make...it would be nice to find a direct "bolt on" replacement model...

I have had the pump rebuilt and replaced the motor a couple times but nothing seems to last like the original did...about 10 trouble free years...so I just want to buy a whole new unit and be done with it for hopefully 10 more years...
So I head out into "Interweb Land" and start searching around...now I am more confused than ever!

Can anybody here point me in a direction please...??? What would be an equivalent model and best place to buy to not break the bank...???
I want to stay single speed...it is a small 5000 gal pool and the old pump was/is 1HP...
