    Cool 10k gallon pool - Re-plaster

Just got a quote from a BBB A+, Angie's list top link removed - Admin .

    Plaster Start-Ups- Omar Nuno – Poseidon Pools – 281-865-8216
    Standard White Plaster - 3 day process $ 475.00
Acid Start Up – Up to 5 day process (upgraded plaster finishes) $ 675.00

What do you guys think? $475.00 seems good if they brush the pool for the two weeks specified.
They don't say anything about filtering the water that goes in right after.

I'm getting the regular plaster, since mine lasted 10years.

Plaster prices, and installation quality, are highly, highly local.

Only someone from your region can tell you if that's a good price or not. I can tell you it would be a decent price in SE Tennessee, but that's not really relevant.

Be *SURE* to check references. Angie's list is OK, but try to confirm some local prior jobs. If the start-up is different than the plaster company, ask THEM (plaster company) what they recommend.
