Default Fafco Solar Pool Heater Installation

Just had a four 12' Fafco solar collectors installed on my roof. I am concerned that the cold water inlet pipe is on the same panel as the warm water outlet. Most installations I have seen have the inlet on the bottom of one panel and then the outlet is at the top of the opposite end. Wondered if it hurts efficiency or does Fafco have some special baffle that makes it a non issure?

    Thanks

    Hi Harold:
If it's what I think it is, it kind of works in reverse: When the valve is open, the water bypasses the panel running through the thick tube on the end. When it's shut, it forces it through the micro-tubes that get the sunlight and is heated. I'm not crazy about the system but...that's how it works.
