"Magic" products usually aren't. At best they combine the stuff we all use anyway.
This will be the first year that I winterize without intending to drain the pool in the spring (I had the pool repainted this past spring, so I started with fresh city water) and I don't know how much to worry about algae, etc. growing.
I've done the standard winterization (balance everything, chlorine shock, polyquat 60). I can't find much information about the Winterpill except uninformative positive customer reviews. (http://www.doheny.com/poolsupplies/W..._campaign=2387) Does anybody have any information or opinions?
Thanks!

Thanks Carl.
I didn't end up buying it. I just use chlorine and polyquat to winterize, so I'll see how much algae grows.
