    Default Intex SWCG at Walmart

I saw this today at Walmart kit and it made me curious because people had been talking about these costing close to $1000. I wondered if anyone had experience with it because it's pretty inexpensive. Also, it is designed for AG pools but I don't understand what is different for an IG pool since you are using your original pump right?

    I've never used SWCG before.

Hope it's ok to post the link, I didn't see any rules against that.

I had a hard time getting your link to work, but I finally did . . . and it was out of stock. A similar, smaller unit is available on Amazon:
Intex Krystal Clear Salt System - 7000 gal
and has very positive buyer reviews.

My only caution would be that that unit ALSO adds copper to the water, which can cause green hair. But, you can disconnect the copper cell.
