Just trying to get started here but can't search or change profile etc. I'm a trying to learn as much as possible before I do a replumb. Interested in whether or not the circupool is really outputting 2.5 lbs per day as my bather load is extremely high. My two haywards can't keep up. Definately need more output. Help.

    1. You need a K2006 + (2) K1000 kits + a bottle of AquaChem salt strips. Amazon links on test kit page, linked in my blue signature block.

    2. A 36" Triton sand filter + a 2 HP Whisperflo will filter 100 GPM properly. More flow than that, and water quality suffers as dirt is forced through the filter. 100 GPM delivers 6 hour turn over on a 36,000 gallon pool.

BUT . . . for that to happen, you need 2.5" or larger piping around the pump and filters.

    3. I'm learning that all SWCG performance stats tend to be optimistic, rather than typical.

    4. Commercial pool chlorine demand depends heavily on bather load and type.

    5. Commercial pool questions belong in the commercial section, not in the general forum.
