Default Chemical shopping list for new pool -- missing anything?

I read the Super Simple Pool Chemistry Recipe and since Oregon doesn't have a Sam's Club (nothing within 100 miles of my location at least) I'm going to buy some of the stuff from Amazon. Here's my shopping list, is there anything I need or don't need?
    • 6% bleach, 2 gal.
    • borax, 1 box
    • K-2006C test kit
    • Kem-Tek concentrated chlorinating granules, 22.5 pound container
    • Kem-Tek 60% algaecide, 1 qt.
    • muriatic acid @ 31.45%, 1 gal. (I can get at Lowes)

Haven't broken ground yet but I want to get everything ready.
    Intex Ultra-Frame 16'x48" AG; ~4,600gallons @ 90%; 1,500 g/h pump; 2 unbelievably excited elementary school kids!

    Looks reasonable.

Try to get the muriatic acid, borax, and bleach locally. Be very careful about storing muriatic acid -- it's best to store it outside, inside an old covered garbage can, or the like. The fumes -- even tiny amounts -- can damage wiring and other metal bits in a garage. Muriatic acid and borax will keep indefinitely, but the borax box has to stay dry and the muriatic acid bottle must not be exposed to sunlight during storage.

    Good luck!

Have you tested the pH of your fill water? Depending on what your results are, you may or may not need the muriatic acid. I have never had to add muriatic acid in all the years I have had a pool. You may want to wait and see if you need it before you buy it. That way, you won't waste your money plus you won't have to worry about storing something that you might not need. Just my $0.02.

No testing of the water except the one with bleach to check for cloudiness (no cloudiness, yeay). Since we're on a well and I know we have hydrogen sulfide in the water I need to do the well water testing. Wife wants to fill the pool with the filtered water (professionally installed water filtration and softening system for the house, yard gets unfiltered) and not straight from the well so I'll test both ways. We will likely use the filtered water since the unfiltered smell is slightly noticeable.

I'll wait on the acid until after testing. We have a garden shed that I can store the acid, with appropriate container. Other goods can go in the house or my [insulated] shop.
