I was told I need to put 13lbs of alkalinity in my pool, I heard I could use baking soda, is that true? If so, how much will I need?
Thanks for your help.

Baking soda is not a *substitute*; it's a more pure version of EXACTLY the same chemical pool stores sell.
But . . . if you have an AG liner pool, and your pH is stable, you probably don't need it. (And, you definitely don't need calcium increaser!)
