Thanks Watermom. To begin with, I understand it appears recommended that the floor and footer be poured at once, with rebar passing from the floor going through the footer and vertically up the walls. i understand that when the blocks are placed over the vertical runs of rebar, the walls and floor will be unified. However, since the blocks are dry set, what bonds the block walls to the floor of the pool to prevent leaking at the connection? Is simply filling the cavities with cement sufficient? Is a waterstop needed, and if so, how is it placed with the concrete block? Or is the surface bond coat along the face of the block sufficient to create a unified connection at the floor and wall joint?

Once the walls and floor are in pace, I understand the plaster/diamonbrite/sani-tred/armorguard seal the floor and walls and ultimately waterproof everything? Any recommendations insofar as which surface coat is best?

Feedback greatly appreciated.
