I just replaced AO smith pool pump motor and after replacing everything and reconnecting it just hummed for a second and then died. There is no longer any humm at all, seems like the motor is completely dead or not receiving power. Any advice on how to troubleshoot ? The new motor was set to 220 which matches the old one. I took a picture with my cell phone of the wiring on the old one and mirrored on the replacement. I am guessing this is an electrical problem or the motor somehow shorted out ???? Please help.
