Thank you. That helps a lot. I think I will try the 'recipe' as it does look easy. I am guessing I could still utilize the float dispensor with the chlorine tablets if I am going away from home for awhile to keep the pool from going south while I am gone.

Probably OK to use the float dispenser with the 1" chlorine tablets while away from home for an extended period?

I assume most folks drain and store this little pool in the winter?
I am deciding between a debris cover or solar cover. More than likely the debris cover is sufficient?

Now I know why I never wanted to get a pool. :-) But I wanted to start small and learn a little before I go to a larger Intex pool.

How long am I stuck in limbo?

One reminder - with the Easy Set (inflatable do-nut) pools, there are two things that many folks don't get right:

    1. Level ground means really, really level. The Easy Set is really not tolerant of even slight out-of-level conditions.

    2. Over-inflating the donut will reduce ring life -- when the ring gets hot, pressure increases. If you already started with max pressue, bad things will happen.

My experience echoes Ben's warning. I had to drain my first donut pool when I first tried to fill it. It was less than 3" off level. The pool moved toward the low side and stretched. Level means measured level not looks level. Even a difference of an inch will be exaggerated as the pool moves to the low side.

Level and do not over inflate the ring. Noted. Thanks.
