Default New Owner of a Large AG Pool in Michigan

I'm the new owner of a couple year old pool in mid-Michigan as we just purchased a new home. It's 33 foot by 54 inches deep. We just took the winter cover off yesterday (successfully, no leakage!) and will be bringing the pump back up from the basement tonight to connect it, etc. We have well water where we live, and the previous owner claims to have filled and re-filled it with that previously without issue.

I ordered a Poolmaster 22260 from Amazon before I stumbled upon this forum, we'll see if it needs upgraded to the highly recommended Taylor kit.

I don't really have a question yet, just been reading and wanted to enable the search function. Specifically, I wanted to see how much runtime is typical for the pump/filter every day? I'd like to set it up on a timer, but I have no clue if it needs 2 hours or 12 hours per day!

    Thanks for this great resource!

    Josh

Yes, you will need a k-2006. It is the best money I've ever spent on the pool.

Thanks for the feedback. What do I have to do to get 'unlocked' or whatever? I filled out my profile and made an introductory post, am I missing something?

    Hi,

Still waiting for registration (impatiently!), lol. Can't use the search feature without it!

NOTE FROM MODERATOR ( added while post was still in moderation queue)

While you are waiting, if you log out, you'll be able to use the google search in either PoolDoc's or Watermom's signatures. Or, you can go to www.poolsolutions.com and use the google search feature there. Don't try and use the search feature that is part of the forum software. The other one will yield better results for you.
