    Default Freeform pool sizes

What is the average size of a freeform pool?

PB has 16x34 free form pool painted out, but it looks really small.
Trying to stay in budget...Just wondering if we should go with less features and more pool.

Average size in California seems to be small, but Florida may be smaller. Pools that size are dip and ply pools, not swim.

I'm prejudiced however: my sons were both competitive swimmers; my school-teacher wife was a water aerobics instructor for 10+ years, and I have always worked with very large pools. So . . . anything smaller than 25 x 60 seems really small to me. Wish we had one that size!
