    Default polaris booster pump

I have my polaris 380 set to run on a timer every day. I accidentally forgot to reconnect my Polaris to the pool after removing it for swimming one evening. Would this do any damage to the booster pump to run without the vacuum connected? The pump was very loud without the Polaris connected but seems to be running normally now.

When we had ours installed we were warned not to run the booster pump without the cleaner connected.
