Hey Willis;

One of our team members kinda slipped up a little in how he phrased things, but unfortunately, he was basically correct in what he said.

There's really no way for us to help you, with no more information than you've provided.

If you had filled out the Pool Chart, and had a valid test kit, and we had valid test results from you . . . then we might could answer your question. But we've learned the hard way that when people say "everything else is OK" that translates to something like, "I've used 'guess-strips' and the numbers seem to be in the range that the bottle indicates is OK".

On a well buffered pool (high borate level) with low alkalinity and calcium, NO algae what ever, CYA < 40 ppm, and about 5,000 gallons of whatever, about to be covered with an waterproof cover . . . 2 gallons of bleach might be an adequate closing dose.

Otherwise, not so much. So, we really can't tell you what would be best tomorrow.

Sorry.
