Question DIY concrete deck resurface: Synta vs. Encore

We think the pool that came with our home is over 20 years old and the concrete deck is really showing it's age. There are a few cracks and a low spot was patched, but overall it seems structurally sound so we are looking to give it a bit of a facelift.

Right now we are looking at two products and I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with either of them. Both sound great, but would like to know if they really are as good as they sound

The first product is Synta's Concrete Restore: http://synta.com/concrete-restore/

The second is Encore's Cool Pool: http://encorecoatings.com/cool-pool-deck-coating/

Any insights are most appreciated! Thanks!

Not familiar with either product, BUT . . . . comparing the "ABOUT" pages on the sites:
    http://synta.com/about-us/
    http://encorecoatings.com/aboutus/
reveals that Synta is an established and family owned business, while Encore is a new marketing company. That fact alone would HUGELY tilt me toward Synta! Families lie and die by their company's output -- marketing types just go bankrupt and move on if their new hype fails! That's not to say families don't run perfectly good businesses into the ground -- my older son works for a company where that's precisely what is happening. But, family businesses are rarely shyster companies . . . . and marketing driven businesses often are.

The fact that SCP (PoolCorp) is selling Encore doesn't impress me -- SCP rolls products in and out of their line up regularly, and the CEO there would sell his grandma's toenail clippings, if he could find a way to do so profitably!

Just did a little more checking -- Encore lists a location for all their distributors, but doesn't list their own location anywhere -- a VERY bad sign. Let someone else be their guinea pig!
