Black Spots

I have a in ground pool and the liner started getting black spots on it. I have scrubbed but that doesn't help. I have poured bleach galore and that doesn't help. I have put in algecide no luck. Any idea what caused this? It was not on there when I opened but started appearing about a month later. I use the good old BBB method.

I don't know enough about your pool to even guess what the spots might be.

Black algae is a possibility. If you swim down, scrape a bit off and get it under your fingernail, come up and smear it on a white card . . . if you get a bluish-green smear, it's black algae.
