    Default new pool construction

I presently have a 22k gallon gunite pool built in 1999 that I upgraded to salt and use a d.e. filter. I will be building a new house in a year and would like to know recommendations for how to build a new pool using the latest ideas.

    Hm-m-mh.

I guess I'm not stretching too far to say that most of us here think "using the latest ideas" from the pool industry may be good for them, but it's bad for you!

One of the STRONGEST recommendations we could make is, "Do NOT use any gear or method that's been on the market less than 5 years!"

However, if you are planning an elaborate inground pool, you might want to look at http://www.howibuiltmyownpool.com/

    Good luck!
