What a mess!!! I absolutely would return it--don't worry about the forum losing the percentage. When you pay that much for a test kit, then you need to get a good test kit, in good condition. Besides, when you order it from Amato (same link, just check the seller), the kit will be cheaper--Amato's kits usually run around $60.

Do not worry about me. That doesn't look like an accident or anything close to it. But strange things happen.

Take several pictures of the kit, the receipt, and the box -- you'll want to be able to show it wasn't damaged in transit. Check your receipt and make 100% sure it was Swimming Pool Supply Warehouse. We don't want to do this to the wrong company. Here's their page:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/details...=A4CSREC7KBRFD

Send copies of the pictures to me ( poolforum@gmail.com ). Save them for Amazon.
Call Swimming Pool Supply @ this number 240-508-1465. Send THEM a picture, and ask them to send an immediate replacement.

If they don't agree to do so AND promptly give you a tracking number for the package, make a complaint to Amazon, and send them pictures. If necessary, we can post them here (after blurring info that would ID you, to anyone but Amazon) and you can give Amazon the link to this thread.

I really want to know how they respond. If necessary, we'll put a "Never buy from this seller" note on the test kit page.

    I'm sorry for the trouble.

Sorry I haven't responded earlier, I've been out back trying to fix all the sprinkler lines cut by the PB. They sent me an email at 9:30 PM and offered to refund or replace the kit. So no need to ban them, yet. ;^)
How come I can't see the photo I emailed you in this thread? It seems aylad can see it.

I'd also ask them to match Amato's lower price.

I was going to just return it and buy a new one from Amato but, the shipping was over $10 so that wouldn't have save me any money. They are sending out a new one tomorrow with a return shipping label for the old one & he said he would see what he could do about the pricing. I was pissed when I opened the box but, I must say the customer service so far has been good and they shipped the 1st one in 3 days.

Sorry Ben, I was just kidding. I guess there's no way to edit my own post like on other forums. Please delete it if you think it will upset anyone.
