I have an 18X36 grecian style in ground liner pool, wall constuction is the 42" tall plastic panels with the braces between panels. Over the past 3 years one corner in shallow end of the pool has been dropping, first noticed when concrete at the edge of the steps was distorting the fiberglass ledge at top of steps and water level was uneven on liner. I cut concrete to relieve stress on step. Now, a year later noticed the wall has partially given way, I feel a crack in the wall panel horizontally about half way up and a concave buckle in one area. Liner is not punctured yet. Pool bottom is concrete, not vermiculite. So also feel a crack in bottom of pool from shifting concrete. I will be repairing this in the fall myself because I love challenges like this...so I was hoping to get advice along the way.
