The ratings on AG (above-ground) pumps is pretty strange. If that pump ACTUALLY runs at 15 amps . . . trying to hook it to a receptacle is pretty dicey. However, my guess is, it does not normally run at that level. If you have to go less than 50' and have a 15A outdoor receptacle, I'd try it with a 12/3 outdoor extension cord. Do NOT use a 100' cord! Do use a GFCI, if your outdoor receptacle is NOT a GFCI. Here's what I mean, from Amazon:
