Dunno about Las Vegas, but in California they use helicopters and airplanes to find mosquito pools.

Around here (away from the west coast nannies) we live with mosquitoes. In Florida, they spray neighborhoods, but I'd guess that in California if they sprayed, they'd have 'Octomoms' suing because they had children with 8 toes on each foot.

If it's one thing about Nevada in general, it's that they don't even have a bug problem (esp compared to Louisiana where I'm from), much less mosquitoes from pools.

The first thing I noticed when I moved here is the almost complete lack of bugs. You can walk by open trash cans and not see a single fly. I first place I was staying in had patio doors with no screens and I used to leave the door wide open, (they kept the house too hot for my comfort from Dec to Feb). Only time I kept it closed was during the wind storms they get here sometimes. Blows dust everywhere. I really enjoy eating outside when the weather is nice; not a bug in site.

I'm starting to think a neighbor called it in so he can use my pool, lol.

Better fix your fence then; under current legal precedents (nurtured and grown by the human botflies -- aka attorneys -- our society has nurtured), you're at fault if your neighbor drowns, even if he's swimming without permission!
