Have you considered starting your pool by manually chlorinating with dichlor until you reach your CYA target? This will likely be the quickest way to get CYA in your pool as dichlor adds 9ppm CYA with every 10ppm FC. Do make sure it doesn't have mystery ingredients or metals.
