Oh, I suppose you may, if you like. 
I can probably think of some more things to worry about, if that's not enough. There's always Naegleri fowleri, which occasionally lives in pools, is chlorine resistant, goes in through your nose, and turns your brain to mush. And, of course, black widow spiders just adore the underside of skimmer lids -- I've found them there a least a dozen times.
Is that enough?
