    We put the generator in, I corrected the ph and alkeline and I haven't gotten the rash yet and I have been in the pool 3 or 4 times which is a miracle. I don't know if I will ever know what caused it but I hope that things stay this good!! I'm so happy after going through this for 5 + years!

    Just be VERY careful to avoid ANY chemicals, if you don't know EXACTLY what's in them. That pretty much rules out all pool store and Walmart chlorine labeled for pool use, and especially, all "non-chlorine" shocks!
