Return Jet Size

I'm installing a used pool and see there are return jets with 1/2' or 1' eyeballs. Which one for a 12 x 18 above ground pool is best.

It depends -- on how many other inlets you have. A 1/2" eyeball is probably too small, if it's the only return into your pool.
