Hello everyone,
My wife and I recently moved into a new house with a damaged above ground pool in the backyard. We are interested in repairing the pool, however we don't have a ton of money and would like to try to do it ourselves for as cheap as possible.
The pool has two holes in the side. When I say hole in the side, I mean all the way through the liner and the metal pool itself. They almost look like bullet holes, actually. You can see those in the pictures. There is also a problem with the liner where a piece of it has come unattached, and in several places the place where the liner attached to the top of the pool is rusty and/or broken. All of this is shown in the pictures.
Besides these two problems, the pool works. The filter works and everything else is intact.
So my question to you guys is this: Is it possible to fix this at home? And if so, what do I need to buy? I imagine I need some sort of patch for the holes and a replacement for the top part of the liner, but I don't really know where to start in reality.
Oh yeah, here are the pictures. [ in next post - Admin ]
Thank you
