Recommended cleaning robots?

I just bought a new house and we are surrounded by trees that constantly blow leaves into our pool. I want to get a cleaning robot that will be plugged into electrical with the following criteria:

- goes up wall and stairs
- has a large capacity bag
- has a well made bag so it doesn't easily fall apart and need to be replaced often
- has easy access to take out the bag and throw it out
- I am willing to spend around $1,000 though if I need to spend more I am open to it
- has a remote control (only if it is something I should have)

Can anyone recommend any models?

Keep in mind, most pool owners are still in hibernation, so you may have to wait for an answer!

Our pool is surrounded by oaks and is inundated by leaves and other dirt & debris
we bought an aquabot turbo-t and abused it for 3 years before the pump motor started to wear out
i have used a couple of other robots and the turbo-t delivered the goods
way better leaf collection
VASTLY superior fine particulate collection
much better wall climbing

BUT

run your pump enough to allow the skimmers to collect the leaves
thats the key ingredient
dont waste your robots life doing what the skimmers will do

I can't recommend a robot, but I will suggest that you get an in-line leaf basket. My pool cleaner is vacuum operated, not electrical, and it will not climb anything, but the in-line leaf basket keeps tons of leaves out of the filter.

If you go the Polaris route, stay with the 280, the orifice is bigger and it is a little more economical in the beginning...
