Default How to clean Slot Drain

Between the pool apron and the adjoining concrete patio area, is a slot drain to catch run-off from the pool. Mine is full of dirt, with small plants growing in some holes. How does one clean this drain? If anyone has one, and knows how to clean it, I'd be most appreciative in hearing from you. Thanks. Gary/Homosassa, FL

Can't say I have a definitive answer, but I'd probably try to start at the end -- where the water drains out -- and try to work a hose up the pipe, in a reverse direction, flushing as I went.
