enclosing pool help

I want to enclose an inground pool for year round use...has anyone done this on a budget? i am looking for different alternitive ideas.thanks,

I've seen it done, multiple times. It usually doesn't work out the way people imagine.

+ I've never heard of anyone who like a 'bubble' enclosure, after the first year.
+ I've seen treated wood & polycarb corrugated roofing used successfully, in the form of a double or triple wall 'greenhouse'.

But, many folks find the economical enclosures confining and depressing on the inside. Where I've seen such enclosures be successful, the users had a strong purpose for the pool, for example a health need that STRONGLY motivated them to do water aerobics daily.

Keep in mind that in Nova Scotia (I checked your posting IP) you will have to be VERY careful about snow loading and freezing issues.

Give us a little more info and that may help you get some replies. Size and shape of pool, etc. What kind of enclosure are you thinking of? Will it be a permanent enclosure or something that is removed during the summer? Where do you live? Welcome to the forum, by the way!
