Under my stairs.. below the bottom flange, the liner has pulled or torn loose. It has exposed a patch of the underlying bottom stair wall about 1/2 in x 2 in. A couple of old screw holes are visible. It is leaking. Is there a way to fix?
Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

Welcome to the Forum!
While I tried to present this to you last night on a different forum, apparently I was unclear

Start with the info here for patching a liner. (do this on the holes you can see)You can try a patch. What you want to do is unscrew the faceplate in the affected area. Patch the holes below the faceplate but leave enough unglued patch to slide under the faceplate. Reinstall the screws, with the extra patch material between the faceplate and gasket, and you should be good to go.
I guess I'm not explaining things correctly but, maybe someone here can put it in a different way that will make sense to you![]()

Thank-you Ted. I did understand. I am operating underwater and was reluctant to loosen the stair flange around the damage. I did place a large patch (1 1/2 in x 7 in) with one side up against the patch-to-flange interface. I then dabbed a liberal dose of marine sealant along that patch-to-flange joint and have slowed the leak considerably.. possibly stopped it. I view it as only a temporary solution until I can do a liner replacement, but hopefully it will last for a few weeks or a couple of months until I can have that done. We are in one of the parts of the country experiencing droughts right now and I wanted to be as responsible as possible on minimizing water use.
Thanks for your suggestions.. sorry I didn't respond sooner.
