What do you mean by clogging ? How do you clear it once it clogs ?
14'x31' kidney 21K gal IG plaster pool; SWCG (Saline Generating System's SGS Breeze); Pentair FNS Plus 48 DE DE filter; Whisperflow 1 HP pump; 8 hours hrs; kit purchased from Ben; utility water; summer: none; winter: none; PF:5.7
yes/no the pool was filled from the well 1st of the month test was taken from the pool
i have dropped the ta some by Aerating and acid
SWCG clogging: it gets, i assume calcium build up between the plates. soak it in vinger over night and it cleans up.
we only use bleach to control the Chlorine and muratic acid to control the ph nothing else has been added other than
stablizer the water is still clear and clean, if their is not a way to reduce the hardness of the my water then is there a chlorine gen that will work in these conditions ???
I've seen posts on other forums where folks say they've used a submersible pump and pumping the pool water through a water softener to do it. My fill water goes through a water softener as all the water in my house does. I believe water softeners work by replacing calcium ions with sodium ions; so it probably would increase your salt level some.
rectangle 11.5K gal IG concrete pool;; 125sf cartridge filter; 2hp 1 speed pump; K-2006, k-1766; PF:10
Ok.
Turn the SWCG unit(s) off and chlorinate manually till your TA is 100 or below and your pH is below 7.6.
Then, retest all values. It is possible to lower calcium via a process called lime softening. But you'll end up with a cloudy pool to clean up, and it's probably not necessary. By doing things the way I say, you can begin swimming right away.

Thanks Ben
I am going to start lowering the TA this weekend (acid and aerate)
Good luck!
