We will need a full set of current water testing results taken with a drops-based kit in order to be able to help. Make sure that CYA is one of the values you report. Also tell us exactly what you have used in the pool -- meaning ingredients and not just product names or "shock." What type of filter do you have?
+ Don't need pics of water; we need test results, primarily for stabilizer.
+ But, you need to fix your water: pH between 7.2 and 7.8; chlorine above 5ppm 100% of the time!
+ 10 gallons on your pool is only 20 ppm; if you have bad algae, and high stabilizer, it may not be nearly enough.
+ When fight algae, once your chlorine goes back to zero, you are generally back at the start, and all the chlorine you've used so far is wasted. You have to MAINTAIN high chlorine, till the algae is gone, or you are just wasting your efforts and $'s.
+ Once you have your CYA level, read the Best Guess page to find appropriate chlorine levels.

I have a five way droplet test kit. is that good enough?
Mesures:
Chlorine
Bromine
pH
Alkalinity
Acid Demand
I have a Triton ll sand filter (installed this year (got used))
How do I measure CYA?
30,000 Gal IG liner pool
Triton 2 sand filter
1 1/2 HP pump
Heater ( off )
Get a 6-way test kit.
You can also take it to a dealer to be tested. Their test results may or may not be accurate, but they will be more accurate than no test at all. The critical tests for EVERYBODY are chlorine, pH, and CYA. Alkalinity and calcium are less important. Acid and base demand tests more often cause problems, then they provide help

While you are at the pool store getting your CYA checked, don't let them talk you into buying a bunch of stuff!
