The ONLY other kit available in Canada that is comparable is the LaMotte 7022 and the US price for that is more than the Canadian price for the K-2006! The Taylor kit is still your best bet.

Ok thanks. I will have put some cash aside. Just getting the pool has cost enough and its seems like every little thing costs.
This expenditure will save you a LOT of money in the long haul. Just ask anyone who has this kit!

Mr. Mooks,
Order it online through |Amazon and ship it here http://cbiusa.com/. Drive down to Niagara Falls NY and pick it up for a $5.95 Fee. |Go to the Anchor Bar for lunch and have the original Buffalo wings. Show your receipt at the border and pay the HST on your return. You'll still have money left over for some fun at the Falls View Casino![]()
Sounds good to me -- if anyone knows of a legal or ethical reason why this shouldn't be done, please post. I'll spin this topic off into a separate thread if necessary.
I may be mistaken -- and I'm open to correction -- I don't see that pool owners are party to the Lowry monopoly, from either a legal or ethical point of view. So until corrected, my feeling is, if anyone can find a way around that monopoly that's not illegal, I'm all for it.

Wow. Finally maybe a workable solution to a problem that has been tossed around this forum for years --- how to get a kit to Canada. Thanks for sharing, Glenn. That will be a big help to many people!
It's really all about the chicken wings. If you calculate the cost of gas etc. then you're only saving 40 bucks.
